Wiskunde en Wetenskap in aksie

‘n Rekordgetal Graad 6 + 7 leerlinge het aand die “Wiskunde en Wetenskap in Aksie” Kompetisie deelgeneem. Ons sien met groot afwagting uit na die uitslae en vertroue dat van ons leerders sal deurdring na die pretdag by NMU.

Chess in the Kouga

The following Chess players took part in the Kouga Municipality’s Mayor’s tournament.

Eastern Cape Netball

These four netball players represented the Eastern Cape at the u/13 All Ages tournament in Boksburg during the holidays.  They competed against the other provinces and did very well.  We are very proud of them.

EP Rugby

We are very proud of our learners that took part in the Provincial rugby tournament that were held during the school holidays.
Craven Week was held 8-12 July in Witrivier and Connor de Beer and Gustav van der Merwe were in the A team.  (They are middle left and right)
The Provincial B Team tournament took part 17-20 July at Daniël Pienaar in Uitenhage and Caylim Tobie (left), JT Pieterse (right) and Jayden Nel (absent) were part of that team.

Eastern Cape Netball

Well done to our five Eastern Cape Netball players!

Gabby Willemse (u/13), Brogan Lubbe (u/13), Kelly Coetsee (Captain of the u/13 EC team), Lily Veirra da Cruz (vice captain of the u/13 EC team) and Kaitlynn Dicken (u/12).

They will be touring to Boksburg in the June holidays.

 

ATKV Redenaars

Vyf van ons leerlinge het op 9 April 2019 deelgeneem aan die eerste rondte van die ATKV Redenaars wat gehou was by Hoërskool DF Malherbe in Port Elizabeth.

Dit was ‘n lang dag vir beide ouers en leerlinge aangesien die hele Oos-Kaap distrik deelgeneem het.

Die volgende drie leerlinge het deurgedring na die volgende rondte:

 

Carmia Van Wyk – Graad 4

Mienke Smit – Graad 4

Kelsey Justus –Graad 5

 

Die volgende rondte sal in George geskied op 24 Mei 2019.

 

Ons is baie trots op die drie leerlinge en wens hulle alle voorspoed toe.Ons weet hulle sal Laerskool Jeffreysbaai se naam hoog hou.

Eastern Cape Netball

Jeffreys Bay Primary School is very proud of our four netball players who made Eastern Cape Netball teams!  They are Kelly Coetsee (u/13), Gabriella Willemse (u/13), Lily Vieira da Cruz (u/13) and Kaitlyn Dicker (u/12).

Congratulations to Kelly who was chosen as captain and Lily who was chosen as vice-captain of the u/13 Eastern Cape Netball team!

Swimming: SA Regional Championships

Noah de Swardt entered the Level 3 Gala held in Oudtshoorn during the school holidays. The Northern Cape, Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces took part. Over 30 clubs participated. Noah participated in 9 events and he reached the final in all 9 events. He received a silver medal for the 200 m Freestyle and a bronze medal for the 100 m Freestyle and 200 m Backstroke. Well done Noah!

o/13A Krieketspan is onoorwonne

Jeffreysbaai se O/13A krieketspan het hierdie seisoen onoorwonne afgesluit. Hulle het al 5 van hul wedstryde gewen.
Die span het ń totaal van 714 lopies aangeteken met slegs 383 lopies teen hulle.
Jean Joubert was die uitblinker met die kolf. Hy behaal n totaal van 297 lopies(4 x 50 talle in ń ry).
Zack Malherbe was die uitblinker met die bal. Hy het 11 paaltjies laat kantel.
